There are several things you can do to help yourself against the growing threats of viruses, spyware, hijackers & Adware. The first thing, is to always ensure your anti-virus software is up to date (You should check for updates daily). Secondly, if you run "Spybot" or "Adaware" (See Download Page) make sure you check for updates each time you use them. Ensure you visit the windows update page (Check Useful Links) at least weekly to ensure you have the relevant patches and updates. If you do not have a firewall (Zonelabs, Sygate) make sure you get one NOW! If you have (or are about to) put your credit card details on the net without a Firewall I would be extremely concerned!!
